Pastor Alex do Cavaco
Pastor Alex do Cavaco is a Brazilian composer and gospel singer hailing from Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro. He began writing music at the young age of eight and has created hundreds of compositions throughout his career, many of which are rooted in traditional Christian hymns from the Harpa Cristã hymnbook. His work spans various gospel styles including "corinhos de fogo," bossa nova, and classic hymns, and his songs have been recorded by numerous artists in the gospel music scene. In addition to his musical contributions, he is also a pastor and founder of the social missionary project Vida Plena in Minas Gerais. Pastor Alex is well-known for his passionate Christian songwriting that combines devotion and worship with contemporary musical influences.
