Joanie Pallatto is a Chicago-based vocalist, composer, and producer known for her warm, expressive voice and genre-blurring musical style. With deep roots in jazz, Pallatto brings a personal touch to her performances, often blending jazz, pop, cabaret, and Brazilian influences into her original compositions and interpretations. She’s also the co-founder of Southport Records, an independent label she launched with her husband, pianist Bradley Parker-Sparrow, supporting Chicago’s vibrant music community.
Over the years, Pallatto has built a respected career with numerous albums showcasing her evolving artistry, including recent works like Accidental Melody and My Original Plan. Her music often reflects thoughtful lyricism paired with intimate arrangements, highlighting her skill not just as a performer but also as a songwriter and collaborator.
