Lisa Bassenge

Lisa Bassenge is a versatile German jazz vocalist born in 1974 in Berlin. She discovered her love for singing and music at the age of 16 and went on to study at the Music Academy "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin. Bassenge is known for her work with the Lisa Bassenge Trio, through which she releases jazz songs. She's considered one of the best female jazz vocalists in Germany and has collaborated with notable musicians such as Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, and Nicola Conte. In recent years, Bassenge has worked with acclaimed producer Larry Klein, known for his work with artists like Melody Gardot and Herbie Hancock.
