Ordoxe

Ordoxe is a black metal band originally from Nicolet and later associated with Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada, having formed in 1989 and remained active until splitting up sometime after their years of activity. Known for their abrasive and intense sound, Ordoxe released a series of full-length albums that helped establish their reputation within the Canadian black metal scene, including well-known works like "Towards Eternity," "May Death Be My Shepherd," "Beyond Mankind," and "Nihil". Past lineups featured musicians such as Samuel Landry (guitar), Steve De Cotret (vocals), JD Bergeron (bass), and Yannick Laplante (drums).

Though their music was inspired by black metal classics and often characterized by melodic guitar work, Ordoxe developed a distinctive style that stood out for its strong personality and memorable compositions. The band is no longer active, but their albums continue to be recognized among fans of the genre for their raw energy and dedication to the black metal tradition.
