Steve "Silk" Hurley
Steve "Silk" Hurley is a legendary house music DJ, producer, and label owner from Chicago. Known for his groundbreaking work in the late '80s and early '90s, Hurley is credited with helping to shape the sound of house music. His most famous track, "Jack Your Body," became a global hit and remains an anthem of the genre. Hurley has also released numerous other influential tracks, including "The Word Is Love" and "House Train." He continues to perform and produce music, and his label, Jack Trax, remains one of the most respected in house music.
