Divine Hand Ensemble

Divine Hand Ensemble is a one-of-a-kind musical group led by concert thereminist Mano Divina Giannone. Known as the world’s only theremin-fronted band, they blend the eerie, ethereal sounds of the theremin with a rich ensemble featuring a string quartet, two harps, vibraphone, and accordion. Their style defies traditional categories, mixing classical compositions, opera arias, and popular favorites to create hypnotic, mesmerizing music that feels like a fusion of magic, science, and art. Over the past decade and a half, they have performed internationally for diverse audiences, including notable figures like Pope Francis, the Dalai Lama, and film directors M. Night Shyamalan and David Lynch.

Their debut album, *Aria 51*, is described as a sci-fi musical journey that pushes classical music into new crossover territory, covering works from an eclectic range of artists like David Bowie and Frank Zappa. More recently, they have released singles like *Libertango* and *¡Viva Astor!*, which pay homage to Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla, blending lush strings with the theremin’s haunting voice-like tones. Divine Hand Ensemble’s performances offer immersive and otherworldly experiences, bridging historical music with futuristic soundscapes.
