Conditioned Response

Conditioned Response is a hard rock band formed in the early 1990s by vocalist Rick Forsgren and guitarist Kent Stevenson. Originally based in Minneapolis, the band combines the passion of Tyketto, the power of Dokken, and the complexity of Queensryche, with a hint of humor reminiscent of Warrant. Over time, the lineup included notable members such as Michael Simonds on bass and additional musicians on guitar and drums. Their albums include "Pavlov's Dog" and "In Flagrante Delecto," showcasing a blend of 80's rock influences with modern elements. Despite facing local market challenges, they maintained a strong cult following, particularly in their hometown.

The band is known for their energetic live performances, although they faced limitations in terms of video production due to budget constraints. Their music is characterized by a mix of influences, with Kent Stevenson being drawn to Pink Floyd and AOR rock. Conditioned Response aims to create high-energy rock that appeals to listeners seeking emotive and aggressive sounds. While they may not have achieved mainstream success on a major label, their dedication to their craft has earned them a loyal fan base.
