Jehnny Beth
Jehnny Beth is a French musician, singer, songwriter, and actress best known as the fierce voice of post-punk band Savages. Born Camille Berthomier, she launched her musical career as part of the duo John & Jehn before forming Savages in London in 2011. With her commanding stage presence and intense vocal delivery, Jehnny gained critical acclaim through Savages' two albums, Silence Yourself and Adore Life.
In 2020, Jehnny Beth stepped into the solo spotlight with her debut album To Love Is To Live, a bold, cinematic exploration of identity, intimacy, and vulnerability. She’s known for blending raw emotion with avant-garde production, and has collaborated with artists like Trentemøller, Gorillaz, and Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream (on their joint album Utopian Ashes). Jehnny’s artistry stretches beyond music—she’s also been involved in acting and has hosted radio shows that showcase her eclectic taste and thoughtful conversation style.
