Ayinde Bakare

Ayinde Bakare was a Nigerian musician who lived from 1912 to 1972. He was a pioneer of the Apala music genre, which is a traditional Yoruba music style. Bakare was known for his distinctive voice and his ability to play the talking drum. He was also a prolific songwriter, and his songs often addressed social and political issues. Bakare's music continues to be popular in Nigeria and beyond, and he is considered one of the most important figures in Apala music history.
