Godofe Keios

Godofe Keios is a folk metal band from Évora, Portugal, formed in 1999. Initially, they referred to their genre as "Falkeath Metal," reflecting influences from folk, black, and death metal. Over time, they adopted the term "Tapartikoh Metal," which aligns with their unique lyrical themes. The band's current lineup includes Nakouna on vocals, Anttï Vigånthøl and Olaf Azmun-Biköh on guitars and backing vocals, Ulfar Khaggar on keyboards, Kerpele on bass, and Sven Möller Fah on drums. Godofe Keios is known for its imaginative and often humorous approach to metal, as evident in their recent releases such as "Promaneta (Meia do Phoder e Crónicas Adjacentes)," "Feel the Pernil," and "Mythosil Rising."

Their music often explores a fantastical world called Tapartikoh, featuring a trinity of gods and semi-deities, which adds a distinctive narrative element to their work. The band's discography is diverse and playful, showcasing their creativity and versatility in the metal genre. Godofe Keios continues to be active, contributing to the vibrant Portuguese metal scene with their unique blend of folk and metal elements.
