Némanus

Némanus is a Portuguese music duo formed by two brothers who grew up in a fishing family in Peniche, Portugal. They started their musical journey with formal lessons in flute and piano and later studied at a conservatory in Torres Vedras. The band Némanus was born around 2000, initially playing at local festivals and events, and over time they began producing their own music around 2010. Their sound uniquely blends traditional Portuguese music with rhythms from Africa, Latin America, and Brazil, showcasing a vibrant fusion that resonates with diverse audiences.

Their catchy, danceable tracks like "Aiué do roça roça," which has garnered over 11 million views on YouTube, and "Dançando kizomba," with more than 5 million views, highlight their appeal, especially among emigrant communities. Némanus has performed for large crowds—up to 150,000 people—and continues to grow a devoted fanbase that follows them closely. Their music celebrates a rich cultural mix, making them a standout act in both Portuguese and international scenes.
