Bayway NJ

Bayway NJ is a hardcore band hailing from Elizabeth, New Jersey, formed in late 2022. They’re known for their raw, aggressive sound that pays homage to classic New Jersey hardcore and beatdown bands like E-Town Concrete and Fury of Five, while injecting their own modern edge. Fronted by vocalist Jay, whose lyrics candidly explore dark and real-life struggles, Bayway blends heavy riffs, pounding drums, and a touch of hip-hop influence that makes their style unique in the NJHC scene.

Since their inception, Bayway has released several EPs and a full-length album, including *The Newport Sessions*, *World of Bayway: Volume 2*, and *Bayway Takes Manhattan*. Their music channels the spirit of 90s heavy hardcore with plenty of mosh-ready breakdowns and authentic storytelling, earning them recognition on the hardcore circuit and a partnership with DAZE Records. The band’s lineup features Jay on vocals, Chris Halpin on guitar, Dave Mericle on drums, and Julian Austin Caceres on bass for recordings.
