Tyrone Coates & Friends is a jazz ensemble led by saxophonist Tyrone Coates. The group's sound is a blend of traditional jazz, soul, and funk, with a focus on improvisation and groove. Coates is a highly respected musician who has played with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, and Art Blakey. He formed Tyrone Coates & Friends in 2000, and the group has since released several albums and toured extensively.
