The Base is a rock band from New York City that formed in 2007. The band's sound is a mix of classic rock, punk, and soul. They have released four albums, including their self-titled debut in 2009 and their latest, "Waiting For June," in 2022. The Base has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and they have shared the stage with bands such as The Strokes, The Killers, and The Black Keys.
