Bozhidar Noev

Bozhidar Noev is a Bulgarian pianist born in Sofia. His father was a doctor, and his mother was an Austrian housewife. He has been teaching at the Conservatory in Innsbruck since 1977, where he heads the keyboards department. Noev has participated in several prestigious piano competitions, including the Ferruccio Busoni competition in Bolzano, where he won the first prize in 1965, and the Alessandro Casagrande competition in Terni, where he also secured a first prize in 1969. His recent musical releases include collaborations on works by Schubert, Brahms, Villa-Lobos, Hindemith, Shostakovich, and others, showcasing his versatility in chamber music.

Noev's career highlights his dedication to both performance and education, making him a respected figure in the classical music scene. His involvement in various musical projects demonstrates his commitment to interpreting a wide range of classical repertoire.
