She first gained major attention after winning the comedy contest "Clown in a Million" on ABS-CBN’s "Yes, Yes Show!" in 2004, which launched her career in entertainment. She has appeared in projects like "Becky and Badette" (2023), contributing to its soundtrack, and earned numerous acting awards, including Best Actress honors at QCinema International Film Festival and the Urduja Film Festival. Pokwang is also a recording artist with her debut album "Pokwang...Ang Album Na May Puso".
