Morijah, whose real name is N'DA Gnamiensè Reine Morija, is an up-and-coming Ivorian gospel singer-songwriter making waves in the French-speaking music scene. Born on August 8, 1999, in Adjamé, Ivory Coast, she grew up in a Christian family with pastoral parents. Morijah's musical journey kicked off at 13 when she found her faith, and by 15, she was baptized and singing in her church's musical group.
In January 2021, Morijah launched her professional career by signing with Djeys Records and dropping her debut single "Parle-moi". She followed this up with "Allô Allô" in June 2021, which gained significant traction. Her first EP, "Reconnaissance," released in December 2021, featured collaborations with rappers KS Bloom and David Okit. With her unique blend of gospel, R&B, and Afrobeat, Morijah is quickly becoming a rising star in the Ivorian and French-speaking gospel music scene.
