Gugu Zulu is a South African singer-songwriter who rose to fame after winning the first season of The Voice of Germany in 2011. Born Gugulethu Zulu in Soweto, South Africa, he has since released several successful albums and singles, including "When It Goes Down," "Ride or Die," and "Bambelela." Zulu's music is a blend of soul, pop, and traditional African rhythms, and his powerful vocals and energetic stage presence have made him a popular live performer.
