Buzzy Lao

Buzzy Lao is a soulful singer-songwriter and guitarist known for blending traditional desert Blues melodies with rootsy African grooves and Mediterranean folk textures. Born in Turin, Italy, to parents from an Arbëreshë community, Buzzy Lao was musically nurtured in London, where he spent six years engaged in jam sessions and studio work. He returned to Italy in 2016 and released his debut solo album, "HULA," which received excellent feedback from both the public and critics. This success allowed him to perform over 100 shows across Italy and Europe. He has also released albums like "Universo / Riflesso" and a live album, "Live at Jazz Club Torino," where he supported major acts like Sigur Rós. His recent work includes the album "Black Karma," continuing his exploration of multicultural musical themes focused on introspection and personal awareness.
