Iamsu!, whose real name is Sudan Ameer Williams, is a prominent figure in the hip-hop scene, known for his seamless blend of rap and rhythm and blues, as well as his role in the production of beats that have a distinct West Coast bounce. Hailing from Richmond, California, Iamsu! first garnered major attention with his feature on the 2012 hit "Up!" by LoveRance, and subsequently with his work on E-40's song "Function".
