Ágata is a Portuguese rock band formed in 1984. They are known for their dark and atmospheric sound, which has been described as "gothic rock" and "post-punk." The band has released 10 studio albums, 3 live albums, and 4 compilation albums. Their most successful album, "Silêncio," was released in 1994 and went platinum in Portugal. Ágata has toured extensively throughout Europe and has performed at major festivals such as Rock in Rio and Super Bock Super Rock. The band is still active today and continues to release new music.
