Roy Harter

Roy Harter is a New York Emmy award-winning composer, sound designer, and audio mixer, best known for his work in television and film. Born on March 6, 1973, he began his musical journey by taking piano lessons at the age of nine. Harter's early career involved playing keyboards professionally with bands like Fabulon while still in college. He later transitioned into studio work, becoming a co-owner of the audio division at Editional Effects and eventually founding his own post-production facility, SkinnyMan, in Times Square. Harter is also a multi-instrumentalist who has performed with various artists on the European music festival circuit.

In addition to his studio work, Roy Harter has been involved in radio shows and has composed music for several projects, including themes for TV shows. His recent releases include "That Jamieson Show (Opening Theme)" and "Stingers and Songs from the East Side Dave Show," showcasing his versatility in music composition. Despite his busy career, Harter maintains a balance between his professional life and family, living in Manhasset, Long Island.
