Craig Demelo

Craig DeMelo, known as "The Whiskey Poet," is a musician and teacher from New Bedford, Massachusetts. He's been making waves in the local music scene with his blend of folk and rock. Craig isn't just about the tunes though - he's also an English teacher at New Bedford High School, where he once was a student himself.

Craig's been busy in the studio, releasing several albums including "Strong Waters" in 2021, "Until the World Falls Apart" in 2013, and "The Whiskey Poet" in 2007. He's gained some recognition too, winning the BIG BREAK contest sponsored by WPRI and Cardi's Furniture, and being named Limelight Magazine's male artist of the year. When he's not teaching or recording, you might catch Craig performing live at venues like Greenvale Vineyards.
