Mortal And Strong is a unique charity and health awareness initiative founded by Dr. Liz Murray, a medical doctor who turned to art after facing multiple serious health challenges herself, including Stage 4 Endometriosis and Lupus. Unable to continue clinical practice due to her health, Liz created Mortal And Strong to use art as a powerful tool to share messages of hope, strength, and awareness around health inequalities. The project focuses on supporting people with life-changing or incurable conditions, providing a space for community, education, and advocacy.

A flagship campaign from Mortal And Strong is "Scars of Gold," which showcases the stories of 100 women facing significant health battles at a young age. Through photography, documentaries, podcasts, and artwork, the campaign captures the raw, honest experiences of these women, aiming to inspire and educate while driving change in health services and perceptions. Mortal And Strong combines Liz's medical insights and artistic vision to create impactful health communication that resonates deeply with diverse audiences.
