Glitterer

Glitterer is the creative solo moniker of Ned Russin, who formerly co-fronted the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania-based punk band Title Fight. Stepping out from the collaborative dynamics of a band, Glitterer became Russin’s outlet for personal expression where he could experiment and refine his musical perspective. Glitterer's sound is characterized by a blend of indie rock, post-punk, and synth-driven melodies, which marks a departure from Title Fight's more aggressive punk roots.

Since the project's inception, Glitterer has released a self-titled EP in late 2017, followed by the debut album "Looking Through The Shades" in 2019, which solidified his reputation as a solo artist. The album was celebrated for its introspective lyrics paired with catchy hooks and layered instrumentation, mainly written and performed by Russin himself. More recently, Glitterer caught the attention of critics and fans alike with the album "Life Is Not A Lesson" in 2021, further honing Russin's ability to mingle existential musings with his distinctive blend of melodic sensibilities. Notable tracks such as "Plastic" and "Fantasy Four" from the latest releases showcase Glitterer's evolving soundscape and his penchant for reflective songwriting within the framework of his uniquely synthesized indie sound.
