Christian Mascetta

Christian Mascetta is an Italian guitarist born in Lanciano in 1994. He began taking guitar lessons at the age of seven and went on to study at the Conservatory of Music L. D'Annunzio di Pescara and later at the Conservatory of Music A. Casella di L'Aquila. Under the guidance of notable teachers like Roberto Di Virgilio and Rocco Zifarelli, he developed a remarkable technique. Mascetta has participated in masterclasses with international artists such as Steve Lukather, Stef Burns, and Robben Ford. He has won several prestigious awards, including first place in the "Premio Nazionale dei Conservatori Italiani" with his band Glutenfree Trio in 2016 and the "Tuscia In Jazz European Award" with Koinaim in 2017, where he was also recognized as "best new talent."

Mascetta has collaborated with numerous artists, including Otmaro Ruiz, Marvin Smitty Smith, and Gegè Telesforo. He has performed at various jazz festivals and venues across Italy and internationally. His discography includes albums with bands like SensAction, Glutenfree Trio, and Koinaim, as well as his solo work. In 2020, he released his first solo album, "Entropia," alongside Pietro Pancella and Michele Santoleri. Christian Mascetta is also known for his work as a composer and educator in the music scene.
