Mestre Roberval

Mestre Roberval is a respected Capoeira Angola master and musician from Salvador, Brazil. Born in 1964 in the Cosme de Farias neighborhood, he began learning Capoeira Angola at the age of 14. Roberval has dedicated his life to preserving and teaching this traditional Afro-Brazilian martial art and cultural practice. His knowledge of capoeira can be traced back to the old masters, giving him a deep connection to the art form's roots.

As a musician, Mestre Roberval has released several albums featuring traditional Capoeira Angola songs and rhythms. His music plays an integral role in preserving and sharing the cultural heritage of capoeira.
