Tre-8 was a New Orleans-based rapper and producer who gained recognition at a young age. Born Walter McCallon, he became one of the first artists to release an album under Master P's No Limit Records in 1995, at just 16 years old. His debut album, "Ghetto Stories," charted at #84. After leaving No Limit, Tre-8 continued to produce and release music through local independent labels like South Coast Music Group and his own labels, Smoke 1 Records & Purple Haze Productions. He was active in the New Orleans underground rap scene until his untimely death in 2011 due to complications from a car accident.
