Lc5 was a Japanese rock band known for their visual kei style, specifically within the osare kei subgenre. Formed in the summer of 2010, they signed with Sony Music Entertainment. The band made their first live appearance in June at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST and officially debuted with their single "Loveless" on September 15, 2010. Lc5's music often incorporated elements of '80s-influenced pop/rock, offering a distinct contrast to the vibrant style of An Cafe, as they were closely associated with Miku, the vocalist of An Cafe, who formed Lc5 as a side project.
Their discography includes notable singles such as "STORY," "refrain," and "Only you -Kimi to no Kizuna-," along with their album "Lchronicle" released in 2012. Lc5's activities paused indefinitely after 2013. Despite their short but impactful run, they left a mark on the Japanese visual kei scene with their polished, melancholic sound and monochromatic aesthetic.
