Jung Jae-hyung is a South Korean singer-songwriter, pianist, and film music composer, born on January 12, 1970, in Seoul. He graduated from Hanyang University's College of Music with a major in composition, initially immersed only in classical music before debuting in K-pop in 1995 as part of the group Basis. The band split in 1999, and Jung moved to France to study film music and piano performance at École Normale de Musique de Paris. Upon returning to Korea in 2008, he released several albums, including "For Jacqueline," "Promenade," and "Le Petit Piano." His musical spectrum extends from classical to pop and film music.
Jung Jae-hyung has also been involved in various television and film projects, including soundtracks for movies like "Seducing Mr. Perfect," "Princess Aurora," and "Addicted." He is currently managed by the Antenna agency and has worked as a host and music director on several music programs. Recent roles include serving as the music director for JTBC's drama "Not a Hero" and participating in television shows as a judge and host. Some of his notable releases include "Avec Piano" and "Le Petit Piano," showcasing his versatility in music composition.
