TANGDEN is a Japanese ambient music project that creates ethereal and meditative soundscapes. Their music is characterized by its use of traditional Japanese instruments, such as the koto and shamisen, combined with modern electronic elements. TANGDEN's compositions are often inspired by nature and spirituality, and they evoke a sense of tranquility and introspection. The project was founded in 2016 by musician and producer Takayuki Shiraishi, who has released several albums and EPs under the TANGDEN moniker.
