Marika Rökk

Marika Rökk, born on November 3, 1913, in Cairo, Egypt, was a Hungarian dancer, singer, and actress who became one of the brightest stars in the German film industry during the 1930s and 1940s. With her roots in a family of artists, she began her career as a dancer in Paris before moving to Berlin, where she quickly made a name for herself. Rökk’s talent transcended the boundaries of dance as she showcased her singing and acting skills on screen, captivating audiences with her exuberant performances and charismatic presence.
