Michael Rabin

Michael Rabin (1936–1972) was a gifted American violinist whose extraordinary talent made him one of the greatest virtuosos of his time. Born in New York City, he displayed prodigious skill from an early age, making his Carnegie Hall debut at just 13. Rabin was known for his impeccable technique, brilliant tone, and breathtaking interpretation, particularly of works by composers like Paganini and Wieniawski.
