always centered at night is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Alex Edkins, bassist and vocalist Emily Kempf, and drummer and vocalist Nick Sylvester. The band's music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, and its lyrics often explore themes of love, loss, and longing. always centered at night has released two EPs, "transit" and "ache for," and is currently working on their debut album.
