Dylan Perez

Dylan Perez is an American pianist acclaimed for his expertise as a recitalist, chamber musician, and vocal coach, particularly in vocal repertoire. He began his studies at the University of Michigan before moving to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he graduated with Distinction. He has held prestigious positions, including the Lord and Lady Lurgan Collaborative Piano Fellowship at the Royal College of Music. Dylan has won several awards such as the Gerald Moore Prize for accompanists and the Paul Hamburger Prize for Accompaniment. He has performed extensively across the UK and Europe at venues like Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, and the Barbican, and is frequently featured on BBC Radio 3. He is also the founder of *re-sung*, a London-based song recital series focused on the relationship between text and music, and curates other recital series related to opera and art song.

Dylan collaborates regularly with leading vocalists, including his husband, Scottish tenor Nicky Spence.
