Kohtaro Yamamoto, better known as KOHTA YAMAMOTO, is a Japanese composer and musician who has made a name for himself in the world of anime soundtracks. His music is known for its epic and emotional melodies, which have perfectly captured the intensity and drama of some of the most popular anime series of recent years, including "Attack on Titan" and "Kingdom."
Born in 1980, Yamamoto began playing the piano at a young age and later studied composition at the Tokyo College of Music. After graduating, he worked as a music producer and arranger before making his debut as a composer for the anime series "Chained Soldier" in 2014. Since then, he has composed music for a wide range of anime series, including "Attack on Titan," "Kingdom," and "The Promised Neverland." Yamamoto's music has been praised for its soaring melodies, powerful rhythms, and ability to perfectly capture the emotions of the characters and stories he is scoring.
