Richard Sinclair is an English musician best known for his work with the progressive rock band Caravan. He has also been a member of Hatfield and the North, National Health, and Camel. Sinclair is a multi-instrumentalist who plays bass guitar, guitar, keyboards, and vocals. He is known for his distinctive bass playing style, which is often melodic and intricate. Sinclair has also written or co-written many of Caravan's most popular songs, including "For Richard," "Nine Feet Underground," and "The Dabsong Conshirtoe."
