Sadist

Sadist are an Italian progressive metal band formed in Genoa in 1991. Known for their highly technical and complex music, they incorporate elements of thrash, death metal, and classical music into their sound, often featuring intricate arrangements and a theatrical flair. Their lyrical themes frequently explore dark and philosophical concepts, drawing inspiration from literature, psychology, and social commentary. While they've maintained a consistent presence in the underground metal scene, they've also garnered a dedicated following for their unique and challenging approach to the genre.

Over their career, Sadist has released a number of well-regarded albums, including "Above the Light" and "Tribe," showcasing their evolving sound and experimental tendencies. While their lineup has seen some shifts over the years, founding member Tommy Talamanca (guitars, keyboards) has remained a driving force behind the band's creative vision. They continue to tour and release new music, consistently pushing the boundaries of progressive metal and captivating audiences with their intense and thought-provoking performances.
