Sandip Chatterjee is a renowned santoor player from Kolkata, India. He began his musical journey at a young age, inspired by his father who was an international footballer and music enthusiast. Chatterjee studied under the tutelage of eminent santoor player Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya and later received training in "Ragdari" and "Layakari" from vocal maestro Pandit Ajay Chakraborty.
A versatile musician, Chatterjee has performed at numerous prestigious music festivals across India and abroad. He's known for his proficiency in traditional Indian classical music as well as his collaborations with international artists in world music. Chatterjee has also contributed to film and television as a composer and arranger, working with notable music directors like A.R. Rahman.
