Esbjerg Ensemble
Esbjerg Ensemble is a Danish contemporary music ensemble founded in 1965. The group is known for its adventurous programming and commitment to new music, and has premiered over 1,000 works by Danish and international composers. Esbjerg Ensemble has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and has released numerous recordings on the Dacapo label. The ensemble's repertoire spans a wide range of styles, from early music to the avant-garde, and they are particularly known for their performances of works by Danish composers such as Per Nørgård, Poul Ruders, and Bent Sørensen.
