Tatsuya Maruyama

Tatsuya Maruyama is a talented fingerstyle guitarist and composer from Japan. Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1993, he began playing classical guitar at age 13 and quickly gained popularity by posting videos on YouTube as a teenager. Maruyama's music blends elements of pop rock, EDM, and other genres into his intricate fingerstyle guitar compositions. He's known for his technical skill and groove-oriented playing style.

Based in Tokyo, Maruyama has released several albums including "Sound Track" (2017) and "New Home" (2019). His music often features solo guitar with electronic elements, creating a unique sound that has earned him a growing international fanbase. In addition to his original compositions, Maruyama is also known for his fingerstyle covers of anime and video game music. He continues to release new music and collaborate with other artists while also working as a graphic designer under the name "MEREYAMO".
