Jimmy Hicks

Jimmy Hicks is an American gospel musician who began his music career in 2001 with the release of his debut album, *Turn It Around*, on Amen Records. This album marked his breakthrough, reaching No. 11 on the *Billboard* Gospel Albums chart. He continued to release music, including *Crossroads* in 2003 and *Born Blessed* in 2006, which also charted at No. 26 on the same chart. Another notable release is *The Jimmy Hicks Project* in 2007. Jimmy Hicks is known for blending traditional black gospel with contemporary elements, and he received a Stellar Awards nomination for Song of the Year at the 23rd edition of the awards.
