Yuan Sheng

Yuan Sheng is a renowned Chinese pianist born in Beijing into a family of musicians. He began his music studies at the age of five under the guidance of his mother, later continuing at the prestigious Central Conservatory. Sheng furthered his education in New York City at the Manhattan School of Music, where he earned his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees as a scholarship student of Solomon Mikowsky. His musical journey is deeply influenced by the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, among other classical giants like Chopin and Schubert. Sheng has gained international recognition for his performances across numerous countries, including notable appearances at Carnegie Hall and collaborations with various orchestras. He is also celebrated for his insightful lectures and masterclasses on Bach's music.
