Calendar Year is an indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band was formed in 2010 and consists of Johnathan Schenke (vocals, guitar), Michael Hannon (guitar), Andrew Schneider (bass), and Matt Bayles (drums). Calendar Year has released four albums to date: "s/t" (2011), "a life cycle" (2013), "fallingapartagain" (2016), and "maps and flags" (2020). The band's music has been described as "atmospheric," "dreamy," and "shoegaze-y." Calendar Year has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as DIIV, Beach Fossils, and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
