Clinton Fearon

Clinton Fearon is a reggae singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Jamaica, best known for his work as a founding member of the legendary roots reggae band The Gladiators. Born in 1951 in St. Andrew Parish, Jamaica, Fearon contributed bass, vocals, and songwriting to the band's classic '70s recordings before relocating to Seattle, Washington in the late '80s. Since then, he has built a successful solo career, crafting soulful, thoughtful roots reggae music that blends deep cultural messages with melodic grooves.

With rich, poetic lyrics and a voice full of warmth and conviction, Clinton Fearon has earned a global following, continuing to release music and tour internationally well into his later years. His solo albums—like Mi An' Mi Guitar, Goodness, and History Say—showcase his skill not only as a singer but also as a storyteller and musician, keeping the spirit of roots reggae alive while building bridges between generations and cultures.
