Leszek Cichonski

Leszek Cichonski was a Polish guitarist, singer, and composer, best known for his contributions to the Polish rock and blues scene. He gained recognition as a member of the band Krzak in the 1980s and later pursued a solo career. Cichonski was a passionate advocate for Jimi Hendrix's music, and this influence is evident in his own work.

He is particularly remembered for initiating the "Thanks Jimi Festival" in Wrocław, Poland, an annual event where guitarists gather to play Hendrix's "Hey Joe" simultaneously, often setting world records for the largest guitar ensemble.
