Riccardo Frizza

Riccardo Frizza is an Italian conductor who has made a name for himself in the world of opera. Born in Venice, Frizza studied music at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory and began his career as a répétiteur at the Teatro La Fenice. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming music director of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in 1997 and the Teatro Regio di Torino in 2001. Frizza has conducted some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He is known for his passionate and energetic performances, and his recordings have received critical acclaim.
