Sonny Rollins Quartet was a jazz group led by saxophonist Sonny Rollins. The quartet was formed in 1954 and featured Rollins on tenor saxophone, Max Roach on drums, George Morrow on bass, and Kenny Dorham on trumpet. The quartet recorded several albums for Prestige Records, including "Tenor Madness" and "St. Louis Blues." The quartet disbanded in 1957, but Rollins continued to lead other groups and record as a solo artist.
