Dreams of Freedom

Dreams of Freedom is a Ballad Folk and Rebel band from County Kerry in southwest Ireland. Formed in 2001 in North County Kerry, they have been dedicated to preserving and celebrating Irish culture through their music. The band has secured residencies in Killarney and Dingle and has performed internationally in countries like the USA, Italy, Germany, Holland, and the UK. Notably, they played for the homecoming of the victorious Kerry Football team in 2022 in front of over 30,000 people in Tralee. Dreams of Freedom have released several albums, showcasing their energetic performances and authentic Irish storytelling through music. Their music often reflects Irish history and pride, making them a compelling act in the Irish music scene.
