Death By Chocolate

Death by Chocolate is a Swiss rock band from Biel/Bienne, formed in 2003. Their music style combines alternative rock with blues and folk influences. The band originally consisted of Mathias Schenk on vocals and guitar, Daniel Wyttenbach on synthesizer and Hammond organ, Thomas Schläppi on guitar, Daniel Schläppi on bass, and Julien Pinheiro on drums until 2009, when Kevin Chesham took over as drummer. They gained national attention with their EP *My Portable Love* in 2009 and later released their debut album *From Birthdays to Funerals* in 2012. Subsequent albums include *Among Sirens* (2014) and *Crooked for You* (2017). The band's recent releases, such as *Animal Keeper* and *Different Man*, showcase their energetic sound, which has captivated audiences in numerous live performances across Europe.

Their live performances have been praised for high energy, and they have performed at notable venues and festivals, including the Montreux Jazz Festival. Death by Chocolate is known for crafting songs that explore diverse themes, from personal stories to broader social commentary. The band's most recent album, *Don't Try*, continues this tradition of energetic and engaging music.
